The Friends of the Vocal Arts Committee, hosts of the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition, are thrilled to announce that the 11th Competition takes place on 23–28 January 2025 in Dublin.

Dr. Ralph Strehle

Dr. Ralph Strehle, our resident performance coach, will be on hand throughout the Competition to have one to one sessions with all competitors before they perform/ after they perform. These sessions are free and will be entirely private and in confidence. Dr. Strehle, who is also Director of Mascarade Opera Studio, is a very experienced performance and resilience coach who works with many Young Artist programmes in Europe and we are thrilled that he will be with us for the Competition. Watch the 2022 Competition Final

Liz Nolan presents the final of the Veronica Dunne International Singing Competition live from the National Concert Hall. Six of the most talented competitors will sing three arias with the National Symphony Orchestra before the Interational jury decide on this year’s winner of this prestigious vocal competition.
